Covered Fascia  or  Covered Lathe

A covered fascia is a very small pelmet that hides the track and blocks the light gap between the track and the wall
especially useful if you are seeking the elusive "blackout" (see bottom of page)

Usually projecting no more than 5-10cms from the wall with a depth of 4-5cm, they are custom made to suit the purpose
( if you want blinds behind curtains you require a little more projection )

Although usually covered in the same fabric as the curtains, contrast fascia and tiebacks can work

I say "blackout" is elusive because we cannot eliminate all light from your environment.

Has anybody ever screamed at you, from a distance of approx 1 metre
" I can see the hand in front of my face. Do you call this blackout ? "

We cannot achieve " the total exclusion of all light " in full daylight, with a pair of curtains. We do our best. Sometimes we do quite good

We cover Central and North London as far as the M25 plus areas such as Cheshunt Colney Heath Cuffley Hatfield London Colney Potters Bar St Albans Waltham Abbey Waltham Cross and Welwyn Garden City, which are just beyond the M25. By limiting our area we feel we can offer a better level of service.
