Electric Motorised Roller Blinds in London

Motorised Roller Blinds offer additional security and convenience. If you have multiple blinds you can operate them individually or as a group. If a blind is inaccesible you don't need a hanging chain. You can set the blinds on a timer (depending on which controls you have) to operate at dawn and dusk or when the sun is at its highest etc. If you are away you can have the blinds operate at preset times or you can control them over the internet (again depending on control systems chosen).

We can offer mains powered or battery powered motors. If you have wiring in place you can have mains powered electric blinds, but, if you don't have wiring in place then the wiring work required is very time consuming and messy and would require redecorating afterwards (you would need to consult your electrician to provide suitable spur outlets for the blinds). Mains powered motorised blind motors have not changed very much in many years (apart from improved control systems) but battery powered blind motors have improved drastically, largely due to the new dynamic of safer blinds (motorised blinds are safe by design with no dangling cords) also mobile phone requirements have caused the battery manufacturers to improve the power output of batteries for their size. We now install far more battery powered motorised blinds than full electric motorised blinds. The batteries require charging infrequently and they can be integrated into whichever home automation system you prefer or can have their own remote control. Roller Blinds are available in a very wide variety of colours and patterns, and various levels of screen fabric, regular fabrics or blackout fabric. For truly superb blackout we can offer side channels which we estimate to exclude 99%+ of all light (we don't claim 100% - have you met that client who can point at a single glimmer and scream "that's not blackout" ? I have...)
